Troubleshooting

  • Avoid using Virtual Textures as the source for StampBrushComponents. Virtual Textures load with a delay, which means their data may not fully available when Errant Landscape attempts to render a brush, leading to corrupted results.
  • Ensure condition failed: TextureRHI when running a commandlet
    This error can sometimes occur when cached data is corrupted or outdated.

    To resolve it, clear the cache by moving or deleting the following directories:

    • ProjectName/DerivedDataCache

    • Engine/DerivedDataCache

    • Zen Data cache

      Zen is now used as the default data cache in Unreal Engine. Its cache is typically located at:

      AppData\Local\UnrealEngine\Common\Zen\Data\
