Since we made Errant Paths publicly available 12 months ago, we've dedicated thousands of hours to bug fixes, developing new features, enhancing the UI, and refining workflows. With this progress, we’re proud to officially call this release version 1.0. While there’s still a long way to go to achieve perfection, we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built so far.

Errant Paths 1.0 introduces a new Cables and Attachments system, a complete rework of the UI, crucial workflow improvements, enhanced Label painting, and refinements across multiple other systems. These updates focus on making this powerful yet complex plugin accessible, user-friendly and enjoyable for everyday use.

Errant Biomes 1.6 adds new features like a Rotation Mask for Species or converting Species to foliage actors, as well as improved support across various platforms and many other fixes and improvements. It also introduces a more intuitive behavior for Sub-Biomes that output zero in their mask.

The latest update for Errant Landscape brings support for MacOS and Linux, introduces a Falloff texture for more precise control over brush blending, and a new flat brush actor for easier terrain leveling, as well as many other improvements and fixes.

Errant Paths 0.10 introduces MacOS and Linux development support, adds new features like multiple sub-actors per Path for enhanced streaming, improved handling of RVT and more powerful Generation Callbacks, plus many other fixes and improvements.

This release focuses on enhancing our biomes functionality, improving usability, and addressing key performance issues. Key changes include more control for species randomization, new tools for mask-based species creation, and significant stability improvements in Unreal Engine 5.3. We've also fixed several bugs based on user feedback.

We're thrilled to announce the official release of Errant Landscape 1.0! Our team has worked tirelessly to create a powerful plugin that we hope will become an invaluable tool for your development.

We're thrilled to announce the start of open Beta for Errant Landscape, an Unreal Engine plugin that completely transforms the landscape creation process within the Editor.

Gone are the days of having to bake landscapes in an external program and then import them to Unreal every time a modification is made. With Errant Landscape, you can modify your landscape directly in the Editor, in real-time, in a concurrent and non-destructive manner. This means you can work with the full context of your game objects and textures without wasting time on exports and imports.

This release provides multiple bug fixes and prepares the Errant Biomes plugin for the upcoming Errant Landscape and Errant Paths beta releases.

We are excited to announce that Errant Biomes is now available for B2B (Business-to-Business) sales in nearly all countries. Until now, our sales have been limited to mostly Europe, North America, Japan, New Zealand and Australia due to tax compliance reasons. Expanding this list has been highly requested by our business customers, and we are excited to be able to offer it and provide our plugins to a wider range of clients.

We want to clarify that Errant Biomes B2C (Business-to-Consumer) availability remains unchanged. This is due to the fact that VAT and GST rules for B2C sales are a lot stricter, often requiring registration and monthly reporting even with minimal sales. This naturally forces us to focus on the biggest markets first and add new countries once there is enough demand from individual customers to justify the ongoing accounting cost.

We are excited to announce the release of Errant Biomes 1.1, which includes significant mask painting improvements. With this update, users will be able to enjoy faster and more precise masking, as well as a wider range of tools and options for creating and editing masks. Whether you are a professional artist or a hobbyist, these enhancements will help you get the most out of your masking workflows.

We're excited to announce that Errant Biomes 1.0.2 release is out, and it brings support for Unreal Engine 5.1.

The release also fixes occasional crashes when mask painting and compilation errors for PlayStation 5 shaders.

The only limitation to the 5.1 support is missing support for DataLayer assets which will come in the next release.

We are happy to announce that Errant Biomes 1.0.0 has just been released and is available for purchase. This is an important milestone for us as it concludes over 4 years of hard work on this project.

Naturally, it doesn't mean our job is done. We have a long list of things to improve (see our roadmap) and other plugins to finish.

We are very thankful to our Beta participants - your feedback, bug reports and test scenes helped us tremendously! As a token of gratitude, we've prepared a special discount for you which we will communicate soon. The Beta version of Errant Biomes will continue working for the next two weeks.

Because of tax/legal complications we've restricted sales to a select few countries for now (Australia, Canada, European Union countries, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States). This list will be growing as we continue investigating various local tax regulations.

We are happy to announce Errant Biomes 1.0.0-rc, hopefully the last release in the Beta and one that will soon be released to the public. This release addresses a lot of the feedback we got from our Beta testers. We significantly improved performance, fixed all the reported bugs and polished the UI.
